Meet Moreno
A Lifetime of Service. A Commitment to Pico Rivera.
The son of immigrants, Genaro was raised in East Los Angeles alongside his sisters. His parents taught him the values that continue to guide him today: work hard, pursue an education, care for family, treat people with respect, and give back to others.
Genaro earned his Associate of Arts degree from East Los Angeles College and his Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Los Angeles. More than 15 years ago, he and his wife chose to make Pico Rivera their home, where his mother and sisters also live.
Today, he is running for City Council to continue his family’s legacy of service and help build a stronger future for every Pico Rivera resident.
