Service Beyond Politics
20+ Years in Public Safety
As a REALTOR, Genaro has spent more than two decades helping homeowners and families navigate major decisions, giving him firsthand experience with homeownership, property rights, housing costs, responsible development, and strong neighborhoods.
Genaro has served for more than two decades as a police officer with the Los Angeles Unified School District Police Department, working with students, families, educators, and communities. His experience has shaped his approach to public safety, prevention, accountability, and trust.
20+ Years in Real Estate
Following the passing of their daughter, Angela, Genaro and his family established Angela’s Wings in her memory. Through the nonprofit, they have supported scholarships, families and pet owners in need, animal rescue, and community advocacy.
Community Support
In his first campaign for Pico Rivera City Council, Genaro earned 7,384 votes from residents across the community. The experience strengthened his commitment to public service and gave him the opportunity to listen directly to voters, learn more about the issues affecting local families, and build lasting relationships throughout Pico Rivera. After the election, Genaro continued serving, staying engaged with residents, and working to earn the trust and support of the community he proudly calls home.
